bavaria 2001 - 2006
After travelling many years in South America, I accidentally discovered at a May Day Dance in Bad Kohlgrub, that the Bavarians themselves have their own special sort of exoticism.
The tradtions that I adored in Cuba and Brazil were alive before my own front door. All I had to do was to open my eyes! That was the starting point for my safari through Bavaria. I learned to photograph the people in my own back yard with and affectionate but ironically detached eye.
